We are the Shannons

We have been married for 3 years and spent the first 2 1/2 of those years living in South Africa

where we've been refining our passions, discovering new one & making some of the nearest and dearest friends of our lives

He still loves: biking, the snow, snowboarding, fishing and everything outdoors and although a few of those things have been put on the shelf for a while , its made space for a few more things like Surfing, skateboarding, and his wife!

She still loves: Cooking, hosting, art and making something from nothing but she also has a whole new variety of interest to choose from.

 We are starting a new chapter now and moving to the Big Island,Kona Hawaii...

We hope new folks will discover this blog and lives will be blessed somehow as a result of reading it.

Daniel and I, we share a passion for the Nations and long to see more believers become followers of Jesus Christ. Through prayer,intercession,teaching and maintaining relationships with brothers and sisters around the world we desire to know God more and to make Him known.

Interesting fact about us: We fell in love in Northern India.

She enjoys: Cooking,hosting get-togethers, art or anything that involves creating something from"nothing",working with children, flowers,sunshine,and most recently the snow.

He enjoys: Mountain biking,snowboarding,hiking,hockey,adventure of most any kind,Christmas time and the beauty of tradition, different cultures and people!

We enjoy: Reading together,having people over to our home,The Farmer's Market on Saturdays,being outdoors and discovering new places!

Right now: We are grateful for this season of preparation. We are learning so much together as we wait upon the Lord for our next steps.

Somewhere in our future: We hope to be involved somehow in the lives of orphans. Our hearts beat with excitement thinking about a day when we can invest in the lives of the mother and fatherless.
